SlingSync BETA: SlingSync BETA is a simple application that makes it easy to convert your video and audio files for playback by SlingCatcher.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you install this update, SlingProjector will be removed from your computer. After installing this update, you will need to reinstall SlingCatcher Desktop to start projecting to your SlingCatcher again. When you reinstall, be sure that you have SlingSync unchecked.
Download Instructions
Click the Download button to copy the installer file to your Windows PC. Once the download is complete, open the file to install SlingSync BETA.
Requirements for SlingSync:
- A SlingCatcher on your local network
- Microsoft Windows Vista or Windows XP with Service Pack 2
- 64-bit versions of Windows now supported
- Intel Core Duo CPU at 1.6GHz; Intel Pentium IV or Pentium M CPU at 3.0 GHz
- 1 GB of RAM for Windows Vista; 512 MB of RAM for Windows XP
- Display resolution of 1024x768
- 50 MB of available disk space for installation

SlingSync Key Features
- Scans for Media
SlingSync will scan your hard drive for videos and audio so you don't have to.
- Verifies Compatibility
SlingSync will check that if the media that you have on your hard drive is in a format that can be played by the My Media application within your SlingCatcher.
- Converts Video and Audio Files
If your have video or audio files that are in a format that SlingCatcher cannot play, SlingSync will try to convert them to a compatible format.
- Tags Media
This feature lets you use keywords as a way to group your media collection into categories and easily find the audio/video files you are looking for.
- Transfers Files
Helps you transfer your multimedia files to a USB 2.0 hard drive or thumb-drive, which you can then connect to your SlingCatcher for viewing.
